Please read these Terms of Service carefully before purchasing or using any MindOceans product. By placing an order or using our products, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. About MindOceans
MindOceans produces guided journals and related materials designed to support personal reflection. Our products are created to help individuals think more clearly, respond more thoughtfully, and develop greater self-awareness in the context of their relationships and lives.
2. Not Professional Advice
MindOceans products - including the MindOceans Journal for Men, any written content, digital materials, or access to the MindOceans Hub - are designed for personal reflection and self-guided use only.
They are not a substitute for professional therapy, counselling, medical advice, psychological treatment, legal advice, or any other form of licensed professional service.
Nothing in our products or communications should be interpreted as personal advice directed at your individual situation. MindOceans does not know your specific circumstances, and no content we provide constitutes a professional recommendation.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, relationship abuse, addiction, violence, or any situation requiring urgent support, please seek qualified professional help immediately.
By purchasing or using our products, you acknowledge and accept that MindOceans provides tools for self-guided reflection only, and that outcomes - including any changes to your relationships, emotions, or behaviour - cannot be guaranteed.
3. No Guarantee of Results
MindOceans makes no promise, guarantee, or representation that use of our products will produce any specific outcome, including but not limited to: relationship improvement, emotional change, reconciliation with a partner, or personal transformation.
Results depend entirely on the individual and the effort, honesty, and consistency they bring to the process.
4. Eligibility
By purchasing from MindOceans, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
5. Products and Orders
Physical Products
MindOceans journals are physical products. All product descriptions, images, and specifications are provided in good faith and are as accurate as possible at the time of listing.
Minor variations in colour, texture, or appearance may occur due to manufacturing processes or screen display differences and do not constitute a defect.
Pre-Orders
When ordering during a pre-order period, you are reserving a product that has not yet shipped. Expected shipping timeframes will be displayed clearly before you complete your purchase. If production or delivery timelines change materially, you will be notified by email.
6. Pricing and Payment
All prices are displayed in US dollars unless otherwise stated. MindOceans reserves the right to change prices at any time. The price charged is the price displayed at the time your order is completed.
Payment is processed securely through our payment provider. MindOceans does not store your card details.
7. Shipping
Standard shipping is included for orders delivered within the contiguous United States. Additional charges may apply to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, or international destinations. Any applicable shipping cost will be shown clearly before checkout is completed.
Delivery timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed. MindOceans is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
8. Returns and Refunds
Because the MindOceans Journal is designed to be written in, we are unable to accept returns of used products except as described below.
Unopened products: If you receive a product and have not opened or used it, you may request a return within 30 days of delivery. The product must be returned in its original, undamaged condition at your own cost. A refund will be issued upon receipt and inspection.
60-day honest use commitment: The MindOceans Journal is a 60-day commitment. We stand behind it fully - but real change asks something of you too. If you engaged honestly with the journal for at least 30 days and don't feel it helped, email us at contact@mindoceans.com. We'll review it and make it right. Refund requests under this policy must be made within 60 days of delivery.
Damaged or defective products: If your product arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery with a description and photograph of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.
Pre-orders: If you wish to cancel a pre-order before it has shipped, contact us and we will issue a full refund.
Digital access (MindOceans Hub): Access to digital content and the MindOceans Hub is non-refundable once access has been granted.

9. Intellectual Property
All content produced by MindOceans - including journal text, exercises, questions, website content, images, brand materials, and Hub articles - is the intellectual property of MindOceans and is protected by copyright.
You may not reproduce, distribute, copy, sell, or repurpose any MindOceans content without prior written permission.
10. The MindOceans Hub
Access to the MindOceans Hub is provided to customers and Founder List members as described at the time of purchase or sign-up. Hub content is for personal use only. You may not share, distribute, or republish Hub articles or materials.
MindOceans reserves the right to update, add to, or remove Hub content at any time.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MindOceans and its owners, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of our products or services, including any loss of relationship, emotional distress, or failure to achieve a desired outcome.
Our total liability in any circumstance will not exceed the amount you paid for the product in question.
12. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with applicable law. If you are located outside the United States, local consumer protection laws may also apply.
13. Changes to These Terms
MindOceans reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our products or website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
